Have i told you how much a new bicycle will cost you? from $150 to $2000 and up. Depends on the type and brand. Road bike is more expensive than mountain bike, but they are lighter and smaller (for storage sake). A new road bike will cost you around $900. But then again, there always be eBay.

I’ve mentioned that there’s a thin line for eBay of being good and evil. I bought 2 road bikes from e-bay last month, both of them is 80’s road bike. All transaction is cash in hand, i met the first in southern cross station and we had to go to the ‘end’ of a train line to get the other one (it was a good trip though). Both of them have goods and bads. I took a bit from here, and there, and switch the parts around (i learn a new thing, fixing bike, well….i havent learned about swapping gears though, but at least i know how to fix the brakes and all).

I’ve tried to take them to prahran, since it’s been so long i havent ride a bike, my thighs are hurting for couple of days. And now i cant wait to go back on the saddle. Unfortunately, i still have my monthly transportation card, so i have to validate it and use public transies until 9th June.

After i’ve done with all the parts swapping, i’ll post the other on ebay, back on sale!! woohoo. so that’s how you get a ‘new’ bike.
