It’s Saturday night! We’re coming out for fun!

Moomba Waterfest ‘07! A yearly event which has been very good the years before…previously known as Moomba. This time around (i don’t know about last year), it’s held on both flanks of the yarra river. Dry area (no alcohol) and wet area. Lots of games to play, lots of amusement to play, and foods to crave about.

We arrived there at 7.45pm, for the fireworks at 8.30. I posted some pictures, but as always, you can find heaps of them on our Flickr page.

I shot some hoops, well you have 2 shoots for $5, and a chance to win one of those beefy dolls. First attempt…bumped off the rim, second attempt…success!! We are very happy to win a beefy dolls (it’s never about the price or the dolls), but that winning you can describe. You should try it sometimes. And we grabbed a hotdog (for deasy, are you sure it’s beef? just kidding) and a dog-on-stick for me. No drinks, cos we ran out of cash (we didn’t expect to spend money). The event itself is well prepared, there’s even a lost-children tent…

We only conquered the dry area. There supposed to be a waterfest event at noon/afternoon, well, i guess we have to go back tomorrow, or monday.
